This short documentary was created as part of a course at George Fox University. We connected with local chefs in Newberg, Oregon—including Chris Utz from Forage Café, Chef Toomb from The Jory, and Chef Dario Pisoni—to explore how their food reflects the culture and community around them. From wood-fired pizzas to refined fine dining to traditional Italian dishes, each chef shares their story and philosophy on why they cook the way they do.
